As a pure MR, this is poor. If you want to go to Hawaii with little hassle, then the miles sure won't hurt .

I agree that $0.02 per EQM is nowadays unrealistic, though in the off-season one can come pretty close with some transcons in the US. Out of Europe I would say $0.04 per EQM is excellent.

There are some CDG-IAD/ORD-GRU-GIG fares for ~$860 all in on UA. That's more mileage than your itinerary to Hawaii for a little over half the price. I haven't been able to find anything better out of Western Europe.
