Hmm... I use Citi as well. However I recently converted as follows:
AA Premium Debit Card --> Thank You Debit Card
AA World MasterCard --> Chairman Card
The reason?... If you have a Thank You Debit Card you get points just for having an account, i.e. as much 800 -1200 per month depending on your services with Citibank. I use my Chairman Card for all of my purchases. This gives me between 2 and 4 points per dollar (including flight point matching). Now I am getting 6,000 to 12,000 points per month. (This excludes all restaurants and hotel charges which go on a different card, i.e. HH AMEX)With the Citi AA program, I was only getting 2,000 to 4,000 points for the same spend.
