Yup, I remember... Winter of 1976 when I was 10 going to Disneyland for our big vacation. Hughes Air West from Edmonton to San Diego (connecting in Vegas). On our descent into San Diego we had to abort to avoid another plane taking off - as the plane rocketed upward I was thinking "wow, this is cool" and couldn't understand why all the other pax were barfing in their bags...
