That's true. I guess I don't see banking without expiration. As nice as that would be, I don't think the current generation of bean counters would let them fall into that trap.

Kind of funny, though - earning = 2 years, awards usage = 1 year. For legacy programs with mile expirations, wasn't 3 years pretty standard?

I still would like to see pressure to provide wide availability on old-fashioned 16-credit award seats before adding a menu of options, mainly out of concern that what comes out could ultimately make most of what I'd like to redeem end up costing more.
