I would highly recommend the Friday Brunch @ Hilton DXB Creek - Free-Flowing Champers available as part of the deal too !! ^ My wife and I had probably our best brunch there last year - try it, you will not be disappointed !!

Also, a vote for a lunch in the noodle bar (can't remember the name) in the shopping mall at the Emirates Towers - we have been there twice on our last 2 visits to DXB, and love it too ..... ^

Carters in Wafi City is a bar/bistro and has a good vibe going on too - not haute cuisine, but enjoyable when there is live music on ....

There's always the Irish Village for good "home cooking" if you get the urge

And a great chinese in the Al Bustan Rotana (from memory - let me check that one out !)
