Your phones will work great in Europe with the correct country Sim ,
Also SIN, Thailand , Malaysia, Indonesia and I believe Oz anf NZ too.
So as said above ebay them or save them for your next overseas trip.

I dont think this is correct. If that phone is 900, 1800, 1900 it will work fine on TMobile USA ( all of my TMobile phones are that set of frequencies) but not on Cingular as mentioned above due to the lack of an 850 band. The "rest of the world" issue really isnt relevent on 900, 1800, 1900 unless you are on Cingular. There is some Tmo US roaming possible on the Cingular 850 band but I really havent noticed it being a problem. I would recommend that if possible you switch to TMobile. I think they are probably better anyway.
