Do any FTers ever read www.overheardinnewyork.com? (Highly recommended if you need a good giggle or chortle.) Being a DC area resident, I'm also a fan of 'Overheard in DC', which www.DCist.com publishes on Fridays.

I'm sure that FTers also overhear interesting/bizarre/funny conversations, many of which don't relate to NW or flying or traveling, but some of which do.

On yesterday's NW flight, I had the misfortune of sitting near a woman who, during the boarding process, had one very long cell phone conversation. The NW related-issue I overheard: her complaining that a couple years back NW "lost her laptop." As I was mulling over how exactly that could have happened, she revealed to the person on the other end that she had checked her laptop! The kicker: the woman was in law school at the time. Not only did she check a computer that a) was worth at least several hundred dollars and b) she could have easily brought onboard with her, but it had all of her school work on it! I'll let someone else make the lawyer jokes...

Anyone else overhear anything strange or interesting on a NW flight?
