The OP posted the same question on the AA forum and we had give him the " not so favorable news" that his connection might be a bit dicey.
Mainly because he apparently is non-US and could be delayed at INS plus he is flying in on AR ( Aerolineas Argentina) and might not be able to check his luggage through even if he uses the AA baggage counter ( after customs) he might be delayed there plus the security re-entry etc, etc.
