I think we differ in what we consider “healthy” food. Subway is not a real healthy place to eat. No matter what “Jared” states in his commercials.

The only way to eat healthy is to shop for yourself at a market. Those roasted chickens are a pretty good choice. If you do a quick search on Google for the cities you’ll most likely be stopping in for meals you should be able to find Supermarkets or even better a health food market. You will find snacks, drinks and I’m sure quite a bit of pre-made sandwiches and the like.

Subway is ok once in a while, but not as a main source of calories. Maybe you could buy a cooler that plugs into your car and cook some stuff before you go. The money you save by not eating at fast food places would offset the cost of a $50-$75 cooler.
