I don't know what you mean by "evening flight". NW flights, for example, leave China early in the morning and connect in NRT; which then departs in early afternoon for the US. Same with other Japan/Korean connections. But because of the length of the flight and that you're flying east, you'll always see a sunset and then arrive the morning in the US.

Like HJ says, the only alternative is to fly west through Europe.
