i was walked last year (and i am hyatt gold) in minneapolis to a dump of a HI Express
screwed me up badly- i needed a good nights sleep with no hassles for a morning meeting
when i got back to the hyatt at NOON they were already walking people!!!
so calling would have done them no good
maybe gross overbooking is a minneapolis practice??
( i did get the first night free, coupons for 2 free nights at any hyatt, and an upgrade to a club-level suite for the next 2 nights- but i still would preferred my original booking be honored)
