Do you mean by "Gold card" that you are #1 Club Gold? If so, that doesn't entitle you to an upgrade. Depending on how nicely you ask, and the disposition of the person at BUR you *may* get one!! lol As a #1 Club Gold member, you get to by-pass the counter and go straight to your car. However, if this is your FIRST rental as a Gold member, then you have to show your license at the counter. When you have rented 10 times in a year, you become 5* and that entitles you to "upgrades when available". If you rent 40 times in a year, you become President's Circle and get an automatic one car upgrade. Officially the best upgrade is from F to G. (Officially you can't get a Prestige car from a non-Prestige rental. But evidence suggests otherwise in numerous threads on here!)
