I know that as a HON you have a vested interest in the prosperity and goodness of Lufthansa, but fact is that if it wasn't for the OP's significant amount of knowledge in what to do in this situation, LH would have failed miserably on so many different levels.
For me life is easier, when I think positive. Whether positive experience is caused by luck or coincidence doesn't matter. If all positives experiences are evaluated for possible negative influences everything can be pointed out the other way. This is a kind of negative thinking and just makes ill.
I was talking about forums in general by the way and this has nothing (really NOTHING !) to do with beeing HON and arguing about LH. I used similar arguments more than once in a car forum for example.
