I am sure this are dumb questions (flame suit on), and yes I did look thru the sticky on the BA questions, so here goes:

My wife and baby (who will be 1yr when she leaves and 2 on the way back) are going from DFW-BOM-DFW via WT+....I have a couple of questions:

1) The airport change -- does she have to retrieve her bags and re-check or is that taken care of by BA?

2) What type of ticket should I buy on the way out and way in for the kid? My kid does not weight much, but a bit on the tall side.

3) What suggestions/precautions should she take?

4) How is the airport transfer process?

5) Since, I live in ELP, could I ask BA to codeshare an AA flight so that the bags can be checked in from ELP to BOM? Is that even possible?

I already know that BA has excellent service when it comes travelling with kids...that is why I chose this airline...I also wanted to ask FT memebers, since most of us know way much more than the CSR....
