I completely agree with this. People posting honest threads should not be belittled for doing so, even if some perceive little or no value in the thread. I see no harm, though, in questioning the value of the thread, while
not attacking the person. I also see no harm in a mechanism such as this for suggesting that such threads be closed (note, I said
suggesting) for lack of value, with no offense intended to the OP.
