Here's a question to Bose. Suppose my charger dies while I'm in London? How do I charge my headphones then? It's not like Bose products/accessories are available at your corner electronics store.
I travel very light, so the smaller size/weight appeals to me. The QC2s are too big. But I agree with you about the batteries, even though it seems unlikely for a charger to die. Its actually a net gain in weight/space with yet another charger to carry.
