Why is everyone assuming the terrorists will be using passenger planes next time? They surely learned from the attacks too.

I think that if OBL & Co try to use planes as missiles again, they will hijack large cargo planes, with no passengers to stop them. They would just order cargo flights and travel with the cargo, or sneak into the plane as airport employees.

This shows once again that passenger travel is safe... unless the terrorists crash into the line of passenger planes loading at the terminal.

I think that they will target the aviation again. The terrorizing effect of a second row of hijacking would be even more devastating, and that's what Osama & friends want. The US should better catch them fast.

You raise a very good point that I had not thought of before. However, I doubt that they will be successful, as there are a number of Combat Air Patrols flying round the clock at a number of our cities just in case this should occur again. They would shoot the syucker out of the sky at a moment's notice, and the decision would be all the easier since there would be no passengers aboard.

I think that 'Sama and crew might try to hijack a cruise line. After all, how well does the cruise industry really look into the background of those they employee for the long voyages? I am not saying that it will be some sort of suicide mission, however, they could sneak explosives aboard and attempt to blow it up while in port. Or, they could do what Abbas did and just take hostages and start executing them if the Afghan war is not halted. I am not saying that they would be successful, for I think that they will damage their efforts even more, but then again, they are not playing to Western public opinion.
