That is something I have yet to do while visiting PSP. What is the best way to get there? Backtrack on I-10 to that exit, or going around the south side of the mountains? Hard to tell by just looking at a map.
Best way is up 74 from Palm Desert, but why not go in one way and out the other? Would make it a longer trip, but can see more along the ways.
