Hollyeats.com--while there may be only 1/2 places to enjoy lobster listed on this site there are great choices for terrific local joints to eat not only in Maine but all of New England. I've eaten in many of these places and they are pretty much as described. As a native Mainer of many years I don't find much difference in the taste of lobster from one place to the other--the only difference is the scenery/ambiance. The Mrs and I usually buy a pound or two of clearmeat lobster--melt some buttah and go ta town--no hassle and good as all heck--usually include three or four pounds of steamed clams followed by a nap in the hammock--of course a local Maine brew-- or two-- or three such as Geary's and the like don't seem to hurt much. In any event enjoy Maine and the best lobster on earth. Good vacationing to all.
