That seems to be the rule of thumb most use, or is it < 2 cents per EQM? Anyway, I usually don't make MRs unless I can tie them together with business or pleasure. I usually figure my time is worth > 25 cents per hours, therefore rendering straight MRs useless. If I can get a vacation to Hawaii and enjoy myself for a week, then I'd go for it.

muc2asia, I don't know the MUC to HNL market, but this still seems a little high to make the trip, unless you really want to go. I usually expect to pay < or = $1K (USD) to fly rt from CLE to SIN (about 19K miles) for business trips. So like I said, unless you really want to go to HNL, I'd shop around. There are probably better routes to get lots of miles.
