No, you cannot go back to NZ a second time when using a OneWorld Explorer starting in Australia. The rules state that you can only have one international departure and one international arrival from/to your country of origin.
And if your AKL overnight stay is less than 24 hours then its a transit, but if more than 24 hours then it counts as one of your two stopovers in the continent of origin.
