My family is moving to TPA from SEA in a few weeks. My wife is pregnant and will be delivering shortly. Because I want to make this experience as good as possible, I'm truly paying for 4 F seats for the kids, my wife, and me (well, at least as far as IAD... thanks Ted!
) After last Saturday's experience, I'm already aggrivated by what I am predicting my experience to be like. I can't wait for the FA to give me :evil eyes: and tell me that my children don't deserve to be in F, followed by :horns sprouting from head: when they follow it up with some asenine upgrading comment.
PS --if any of you no-children-in-first-class types are flying SEA-IAD and want to avoid my family in the next couple of months, feel free to PM me.
Perhaps you can link to your other thread, so we don't derail this discussion? I too would have been mad and would have said something.
Kids don't belong in F.
As per the OP, it's a REAL problem with FA's. They are convinced that everyone upgrades. I've had FA's tell me in THREE CLASS INTERNATIONAL F, that "everyone's an upgrader". I said that's not true, but even upgraders are upgrading from full fare Business only, which is about $5000+. She was dumbfounded. Retraining needed ASAP.
