Thanks for the update information. I always like to stay in a different part of a city from the normal areas, so this looks interesting and price-wise practical. Stayed in the Offenbach district (Sheraton Arabella) a few years back and being on the S-bahn still convenient to most places I wanted to see. Since I've done the museums and galleries along the river, the IC -- although a convenient walk from the main RR station and these places -- isn't worth the huge price differential this trip.
