In reality I don't think you would be able to refuse an Operational upgrade (as long as it is for operational reasons!). These are done because they have to be done to fit everyone in and in reality you have to sit where you are told by the crew. Either way, not a bad situation to be in!!
Rubbish! If i am on long haul and have exit row and am upgraded to WT+ I politely turn down upgrade as exit row is much better !
