Dovster, thanks. I may be renting in FCO with a drop-off in MXP. Looks like it will cost around $1300 for an intermediate wagon/car for 2 weeks. However, they don’t quote the drop-off fees on the web site until you confirm your booking. I guess that I’ll stay away from Avis.

I’ll probably book the following: YUL-FRA-FCO; return MXP-FRA-YUL. If only I could book a *A open-jaw on Aeroplan.com and save 3x $30!
