We chose these areas in the Manukau region because of its friendly & quiet pace and If I'm not mistaken, it is out of the gridlock zone of commuting traffic between downtown Auckland and the Southern suburbs. So being in this eastern suburb, we have no choice but to drive to get around.
Howick still has bad traffic due to the lack of crossings of Tamaki River and the sprawl of new suburbs around Botany Downs.
