Has anyone had a chance to register for and try Writely, the web-based word processor acquired by Google? There has been a fair amount of speculation on how this might be a challenger to Word. I would be curious to hear how it performs compares to, say, Google Calc.

(For those who have Writely accounts: There's presently a moratorium on any new registrations until the app is moved to Google's infrastructure. Evidently, there's a way around this by inviting someone to collaborate on a document; the invitation gives the invitee a chance to set up their own account. Is there any chance you could help out a fellow FTer interested in trying this app? )
