I think the points post as you board the aircraft. A few months ago, I flew OAK-LAS with a change in LGB. During the stop at LGB, I logged in to my TrueBlue account and it showed 2 points for the OAK-LGB segment. Once I arrived at LAS, I checked again and it changed to show 2 points for OAK-LAS.
