I completely agree with you on this one.
I got dissed by my corporate car service once, no cabs, it was rush hour, and I did the F-to-Queens-to-Black car, and got to the airport at the same time as I would have expected to if the car had shown up on time! Plus, I saved my company $50!

I've taken the Q33 once, and it was a bit slow (even if it only adds 10-15 minutes, it just seems painfully slow). I've done the M60 a few times, and my bigger complaint with that one is how crowded it gets. In fairness, the M60 to the 2/3 to my apartment on the UWS is about 45 min door-to-door whereas the JFK/EWR airtrains each take 1 hour. But factoring in cost, time and comfort, I pretty much come out indifferent on all the options. If I'm taking taxi or car service, then LGA is generally preferred as it is usually faster and always a bit cheaper.
