Hello,
Crossair (LX) used to be a regional Swiss Airline - first a competitor, later a subsidiary of the old Swissair (SR). After the bankruptcy of the latter in 2001, Crossair was declared as the new Swiss national airline. The stocks owned by Swissair were purchased by some private investors and the Swiss state. Crossair was renamed into "Swiss International Airlines" (again LX) on Jul 1st, 2002, and they have taken over a part of the former Swissair-fleet.
This new carrier was never enough profitable, and was recently taken over by Lufthansa. Last year, they splitted again the Arline into the "mainline" (Airbus) and the regional fleet (AVRO/Embraer), named now "Swiss European Airlines". The inflight-product is absolutely identical on both, and there are also lots of Airbus-flights operated by the "mainline" within Europe. Swiss-European-planes fly only on behalf of Swiss International. So, the actual "Swiss International Airlines" is just the re-branded Crossair. The brand Crossair still appears today on three aircraft (Embraer 145), which are leaving the fleet this year, and with a little bit of luck on your cutlery...
To make things more complicated, Crossair formed a small French subsidiary, which was called "Crossair Europe", but they were integrated into "Swiss International" about two years ago.
So I guess that the computer-system of your travel-office just linked "LX" with "Crossair"...
