the other day I was sitting next to a non-rev comair pilot (not a skippy type- a solid pilot, ex military); he mentioned a flight a couple years ago where a departing pax jokingly offered him a $1 tip. They both laughed, but afterwards he started thinking- if all 50 pax had each given his co-pilot a $1 tip, it would have more than doubled the co-pilots pay for that segment. That is not reassuring.
