Earlier today at about 4:00PM I visited the jetBlue Story Booth at Oakland's Jack London Square.... Actually made the drive from Sacramento to check out what all the hype is about. I have no idea where jetBlue found the kids that they have running the booth. They do not represent what jetBlue stand for at all. When I was filling out the form to be enter into this contest they have going, the two was standing there complaining about the weather and how their from San Francisco and their not used to the Oakland weather. This pretty much made me assume jetBlue just hire someone off the street to run the booth or something. Than when I ask them if I can say something in the booth, and they actually said no and that its for people that flew jetBlue. I was shock that they said that and I than got a bit defensive and told them all the places I been with jetBlue and than they said that I was making stuff up and that jetBlue never flew to Atlanta..... eh... just because its not on the list of destination at their booth does not mean they never flew there before. Eventaully another guy came up from the back and told me I can say something in the booth so I did that... When I got done with that, I went back to the front of the booth and grab some free post cards and one of the two guys ask me if I filled out the form for the drawing for the free jetBlue tickets so that I can try out jetBlue and at that point I was like "I don't need anymore free jetBlue tickets, I get free tickets through trueBlue like three times a year."
sorry, just have to tell someone what happen at the story booth.
I'll still continue to fly jetBlue, this experience does not change my view on jetBlue as being one of the greatest airline in the industry at all since I just consider it as a isolated incident. I am just sorry for those that visit the jetBlue booth, that never been on a jetBlue flight before, walking away with a negative view of the airline based on what is being represented there.
