YVR is in Canada, that makes it international.
There are many airlines who offer fantastic DOMESTIC transcontinental service with great first class products. These are the long trips that count. Don't agree with Continental? How about United Premium Service with 67" lie-flat beds in First. Now don't say this is int'l C/F because they only have p.s. aircrafts available domestically from coast to coast. Even their p.s. business has 55" of room which is comparable to CO. Continetal does not just "use int'l C" domestically. They provide excellent transcontinental services. The meal pictures I posted were served in several DOMESTIC markets: LAX-EWR/HNL/OGG; PDX/SAN/SEA/SFO/SJC/SNA/YVR-EWR
Services you mention exist on how many routes? I'm talking about most of the routes out there...
I don't even consider first class, first class, when flying LAX-SFO, or LAX-DEN etc. With flights of such duration, what do you expect?
How many p.s. flights are there daily compared to non-p.s.?
Not sure what you're trying to prove (especially by making "european c" bold)... Most domestic F products in the U.S. suck, bringing up a few great ones out there isn't really an indicator of the general F service out there.
P.S. You forgot to mention the BE-configured 777 DL uses between ATL and JFK, I love when I get on that plane (food is the standard domestic 2hr F grub, unfortunately...)
