Maple Leaf or Preferred Bulkhead should be able to provide some advice about places along east Queen and into the Beaches. However, I don't know of any that meet all your requirements: Canadian cuisine, family friendly, good selection of craft brews. I do know that the GRANITE BREWERY at Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton fits this bill to a tee. It makes a great range of craft brews -- wicked IPA and other hoppy-flavoured ales, pluis some pils and lagers -- and has a quintissential "Canadian" cuisine. It is also a place that welcomes families, and I quite enjoy seeing parents bring their infants and toddlers, and older kids, along for a good meal. Not over priced, it has a nice terrace out the back. And free underground parking.

Otherwise BETTY'S on King east by Sherbourne comes close, but is not really a family-oriented place.
