But there's always an exception. Ppts issued at consular posts were non-MRP until recently. Current practice has these ppts printed in Canada as full validity MRPs. Cdn consulates also issue limited validity, 8-page emergency passports (I believe they have a white cover) for those travellers who must travel immediately and can't wait for a replacement ppt to be shipped out from Canada.

i went to trafalgar square in london and had a passport in 2 days, its a 24 page, ghetto looking blue thing. not mrp, i HIGHLY doubt they sent it from Can. cost me 60 quid.
