1EF is indeed the second choice to 2AB on this plane, but it beats most airlines' bulkheads, as CO tends to be generous with bulkhead legroom.
If my choice were 1EF or an ordinary seat, I'd pick 1E. But that's me ... I tend to prefer is bulkhead aisles.
Speaking of bulkhead room. I have never seen so much room as I had on my 753 on a IAH-LAS flight sitting in the back exit row (maybe row 35ish). Sure the FAs were sitting across from me (and backwards) on TO and Landing, but they were very nice to talk to... That is by far the most room I have ever seen in an exit row... maybe 4 feet leg room... It was very nice, esp. in the Aisle seat... My favorite seat by far on any aircraft by CO that isn't BF or F.
