Yes, you are worried about nothing. Legroom is not limited, as seatguru says. Plus, the fact that it is a bulkhead gives the seat a more open feeling. I'm short, but I see individuals who are over six feet tall seated in 1EF all the time, and they appear comfortable.
I guarantee that you will find 1E comfortable. Try it and you'll agree. If you try it and don't agree, feel free to post back and berate me. But you won't because you'll love it.
I shouldn't be encouraging people to take my favorite seat. I should qualify this by saying that if I'm on your flight, do not take 1E (unless I can have 2B).
