An excellent pub is Ye old Six Bells in Horley.

Unfortunately, they are in the throes of having their garden dug up by police searching for a murder victim or two so their services are a tad restricted!

You could try the "Parson's Pig", (which also has Travel Lodge" style accommodation available) the "Coppingham Arms", "Heathy Farm" or "Hillside Inn" (tends to get very, very busy) all on the Balcombe Road between Horley and Crawley (Pound Hill) and all do good pub fayre!

I am almost teetotal (I might imbibe on holiday or at a celebration), so can't really comment on the ale!
