One thing I notice on Jet Blue (as well as Southwest) web site is that when selecting times of flights, the prices listed are not exactly what the prices turn out to be on the next page after selecting them.

E.g. a $99 flight comes out to be actually $92.09 plus $17.21 taxes for a total of $109.30.

The only possible way $99 can come out of this is that the tax breakdown includes a $6.91 tax which, when added to the $92.09, makes it $99. But that seems to be a strange way of listing the fare, with one of the taxes, but not the others. Any explanation?
