I have complained about SkyMiles often enough, so to be fair I want to relate how it worked for me today.

I did not know until a few hours ago whether I would be visiting my UIG (Used Italian Girlfriend) in November or December. It turned out that November worked out best.

It is impossible to make overseas departure reservations via the internet, and the Delta office in Tel Aviv is closed today, so I called CSC. I was on hold for 5 minutes but after that it only took them about 10 more minutes to arrange for me to fly TLV-MXP-TLV (with Alitalia) on Nov 15, returning Nov 27.

Obscure2K and her family will be in Venice during this period so I will be spending at least one day there with them. (I want to see if she really spices up Pizza Diabola with Cholula Hot Sauce.)
