I've been entering my flights into the ba97.com travel calendar.

One of my flights was from Shangri-La Airport (Xianggelila in Pinyin; formerly known as Zhongdian) and the IATA airport code appears to be DIG (Diqing). However, the Great Circle Mapper and other sites show DIG as being about 2,000 miles away from Lijiang (LJG) which I know is only about 6 hours drive away!

Have I got the airport code for Shangri-La wrong or is there a reason why DIG isn't where I think it should be ?
