This website, www.smartertravel.com has a link on it to save up to 20% on choice hotels at their website. I have used this link and saved a ton on Quality Inn and Comfort Inn...especially on the roadside hotels, you can get a 2-3 star quality place for $30 some odd bucks per night and you can still get points towards miles, etc....
