Why are you so negative? And how was this "spun"? Did I take something obviously negative and put a positive spin on it somehow? I don't think so. Also, name me another airline that does provides this. I'm not aware of one. Lighten up a little and go watch some fireworks.
They're spinning it as an "improved service" and it's something that any computer literate person could easily already do with a just few clicks of a mouse from the E-mail confirmation of the tickee order .....
and I can do it off line and not risk exposing my calendar to them (or anyone else) that I don't know. Particularly, because it has data on my choice of hotels/rental car companies etc.
Speaking of confirmations, the one service I really like is receiving check in reminders...
