Singapore Airlines offers more inflight movies
Some very good news for frequent long-haul SQ pax, just in from the e-travel blackboard here in NZ - and my apologies if it's already been posted elsewhere.
"Singapore Airline’s award winning inflight entertainment system is set to become even more popular with the airline confirming that from July 2006, travellers are able to choose from a total of 80 movies on KrisWorld
The expanded movie library, up from 60 will allow even the pickiest movie buff to find a movie that will suit them. As part of the increase, a wider selection of international cinematic hits from Europe, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong will be showcased for travellers to enjoy.
To coincide with the additional movies, Singapore’s KrisWorld Magazine will be revamped, with an easier layout ensuring that travellers will not miss out on the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
A new learning channel has also been introduced to KrisWorld, where travellers can enjoy the latest Oliver’s Twist episode from Jamie Oliver or improve their business skills through programs from the U.S and UK."
