When I added my advice, I had no idea what WDC was supposed to be. But since the OP asked for "Central Station", I assume he meant Grand Central Station which is known as Grand Central Terminal. It never occurred to me that "Central Station" meant Penn. If he wants to go to Grand Central, my advice still works.

If he wants Penn, he can take the E all the way to 34th Street/Penn Station.
