The same here. Actually, at first I thought WDC stood for Walt Disney (World), but I see that the code is not WDW. But Washington, DC makes sense!

The station code of WDC on the Amtrak site is for Weed, CA (a Thruway bus stop)! I don't think the OP meant that!

All Amtrak trains operate out of Penn Station only. There was a time through the early 90's when Amtrak trains going north through New York State departed from Grand Central Terminal. But since the West Side Connector was built, now all trains go to Penn Station. Only commuter trains now use GCT.
