Right, the sad news came though today for me that the Virgin MasterCard will be ending it's life at the close of this year. It gave 2 miles per £ and gets me about 60,000 miles per month thanks to a tonne of business spending.

Now that this is changing to Amex and all my big business spending are with firms that don't take it, whats your suggestions on the other card to use?

I know there is a BMI one, but the cost of long haul rewards, especially in J and F skyrockets with this.

I would imagine that like me, you all have cards to use as a backup when your BA Amex is not taken (with me the VS one does this job), so whats the one to go for?
