Grand Central Terminal is what you're looking for?

Cheapest is probably some bus route from JFK. Next to cheapest is the Airtrain to Jamaica. Buy a $7 metrocard at Jamaica to cover the cost of the Airtrain and the subway. Go downstairs and take the E train to Manhattan. Sit in the first car. Get off at Lexington Avenue. Go up the escalator and follow signs for the 6 Downtown. Take it one stop to 42nd Street, Grand Central.

tom, from Penn to GCT, you have to take 2 trains. There isn't a single seat ride.
