Actually I think you are confusing two different hotels. The Westin Century Plaza is now the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. This happened a year or two ago. The Park Hyatt Los Angeles is nearby, but is a different (and presumably better) hotel. (I stayed at the Westin Century Plaza once and it was, in fact, atrocious!)
