LA Park Hyatt or Peninsula or ??
After Christmas, my SO and I will be spending a week in Los Angeles. Although I have never stayed at the LA Four Seasons, I am a fan of Four Seasons generally. Unfortunately, the LA property is booked. I have booked a suite at the Park Hyatt. I used to stay at the St Regis, also located in Century City, so I am generally familiar with the drawbacks and advantages of a Century City location. But I am interested in whether others think I am making a mistake and should book at another property--e.g., the Peninsula. A 750 square foot suite at the Park Hyatt (with balcony) will cost about the same as a standard room at the Peninsula. My thinking is that we will enjoy the extra space and that the Park Hyatt will do just fine. What do you think?
